Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer from Newark, New Jersey on 9th August, 1963. The parents of her are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick is also a singer.
